A social deduction game in your browser
Love Mafia, Werewolf and other bluffing games? In Kurnazo every player has a secret role, but instead of night phases and votes there is a shared board, cards and a route the whole group is building. Saboteurs are never eliminated: they keep playing, and you have to unmask them by what they do.
▶ Play for freeWhat makes it fun
- No player elimination. Everyone plays until the end of the round — no sitting out.
- Unknown number of traitors. There are more role cards than players, so there may be several “bad guys” — or none at all.
- Evidence on the board. Who played that dead end? Who “accidentally” led the path astray? Who lied about scouting?
- New roles every round. Honest now, a saboteur ten minutes later.
- Scores over three rounds and a global leaderboard.
- No sign-up — just a name and a room code.
How a round works
- Everyone secretly gets a role: a regular member of the group or a “bad guy”.
- Taking turns, players lay street cards to build a path from the start to one of three hidden goals.
- Event cards let you cause trouble for another player, help them out, scout a goal or block a street.
- If the path reaches the real goal, the group wins. If the cards run out, the “bad guys” win.
How it differs from Mafia and Werewolf
In Mafia everything is decided by talk and votes. In Kurnazo talking matters too — accuse, defend yourself and bluff in the chat — but everyone also has actions: which cards they play and whom they hinder. That makes it easier for newcomers to join in while giving experienced players plenty to analyse. Games are faster, and roles stay hidden until the round ends.

FAQ
How many “bad guys” are there?
It depends on the number of players: one with 3–4 players up to four with 10. Because of extra role cards there may be fewer — even none.
Can saboteurs coordinate?
By default saboteurs don't know each other. The room host can enable a rule variant with a secret chat for the “bad guys”.
Is there voice chat?
Yes, voice and text chat are built into the game.
Can I play against bots?
Yes. Bots build the path, scout goals and even bluff in the chat — but always within the rules.
